Fishermen die in plane crash
Somber teenagers with tear-stained cheeks today lined the steep brick steps of the McDonough home of classmates killed Sunday afternoon in a plane crash. Identical twin brothers Mike and Chris McCarthy, along with their father Mark, died while returning from an Alabama fishing trip when the twin-engine Beechcraft Baron went down near Pine Mountain in Middle Georgia's Harris County. Also killed were pilot Jesse Champion, of Griffin, and Jim Cox of Concord. "They were coming in from Orange Beach, Ala., where they had fished in the Red Snapper tournament," said wife and mother Cindi McCarthy. "They loved to fish."

Destin Bait Report
APRIL 23 2007 Hey guys,
This weeks report is pretty good with the exception of Sun.We have had plenty for everyone otherwise.Mostly beautiful cigar minnows with about 20% mackerel minnows mixed. Not really many hardtails yet but it shouldn't be long before they show up in force. The Cobia fishing has been off the hook here in Destin this week and should continue on as this SE wind pattern continues. As far as I know it's been pretty good in PCBch , Pensacola , and I would assume Orange Beach , for livies as well. Take care and I will send another report next Mon. or so.
Joey

Yeah we always knew this stuff was goin on, but it's lookin like there's a 20% chance that anything from Asian Catfish to green weakfish to some mystery fish with un-identifiable DNA is being passed off as Grouper. This steaming plate of "Mitochondria Surprise" even comes with a heaping side of Salmonella sprinkled with traces of illegal carcinogenic fungicides
